It's surreal to pen down the first steps of manifesting a long-held dream—the realization of Pletl Studio's physical store in Munich. For years, this vision has thrived in the depths of my aspirations, a concept nurtured, refined, and cherished. I can't even begin to describe the mix of excitement, nerves, and just a tad of panic swirling around.


Having a physical store has been my personal dream since I was a teenager. In a world that's all about being online and digital, having a place where people can walk in, talk, feel, and really experience what we're about is just huge for us and we hope we will be able to shape a creative space for like-minded people.


We've been on quite the ride with the early stages—thrilling and a bit overwhelming! We've been carefully collecting all the furniture and essentials for the store, choosing each item with so much thought and dedication, it really reflects our vibe. Now, they're all just waiting for their turn to shine in the upcoming store we're imagining.


But now, the big hunt begins—the perfect spot. Munich feels like the right place, close to our office and warehouse. So, we're pounding the pavements, checking out neighborhoods, picturing our spot in the middle of all that hustle and bustle and browse the web for the perfect real-estate, but I can already say as much, I think we found very promising spots.


At the same time, we're brainstorming what we're going to sell and, more importantly, what experiences we want to offer. It's not just about selling stuff; it's about creating moments. Workshops, events, collaborations—planning all that feels like building a mini-universe where people can dive into our world, which is exactly what we are aiming for.


Still, there's this heavy sense of responsibility hanging over us. Dealing with finances, planning every tiny detail, and those nights spent wide awake wrestling with uncertainties – they're the less glamorous but totally essential parts of this whole venture. We're not just making a store; we're aiming for something people will see as a go-to spot, and that pressure sneaks in around our excitement.
